Blaken Deepsea Rolex by Andre Borchers

Blaken is the official customizer for Rolex watches, and they have created an amazing new piece, by customizing the Deepsea model. With the typical deep black finish, Andre Borchers designed a contrasting comic style dial, which creates a rough yet stylish street-art look.

Only 7 of these watches are available worldwide and each comes in a Blaken Outdoorbox with custom engraving, nato watchstrap, warranty card, as well as a Limited Edition certificate.

Gordon's Limited Edition by Conran

We have already reported about the launch event of this special collaboration between Gordon's and Conran, now it is time to tell you more about the product itself and hint that Christmas is approaching with lightening speed. 

Seeming an obvious marriage, the two brands share the common values of craft, wit and intelligence coupled with creativity and flair. Each bottle has been carefully curated to tell a different story, inspired by Sir Terence Conran. The designs, which are printed on 100% cotton fabric, feature the corresponding bottle numbers intricately incorporated within a unique print.

To celebrate the launch of the ‘Ten Green Bottles’ collection, Gordon’s and Conran have created a celebratory ultra-premium ‘Ten Green Bottles’ series, which features the designs,  printed on 100% cotton fabric and hand stitched to create a tight fitting bodice around the bottle.  Only ten sets of the ultra-premium ‘Ten Green Bottles’ Limited Edition of Gordon’s will be available to buy in 70cl bottles, exclusively through Selfridges.

This collection is a range of only one hundred bottles, lovingly hand sewn in the UK with care and attention.  Each one-off bottle is hand signed by Sir Terence Conran himself.  You will also receive the corresponding design print on A3.  As only ten of each bottle will ever be sold, this will surely become a highly cherished collector’s item.

James Bond collection by Globe-Trotter

As you all know, Chartwell Magazine is a big fan of James Bond and everything to do with 007. With the premiere of Skyfall, this collection of leather suitcases and accessories caught our attention due to the high level of craftmanship coming from the everlasting british luxury travel brand Globe-Trotter. 

Stabilist Rifle Case

The most stunning item from the James Bond collection is the Stabilist Rifle Case, inspired by the bespoke rifle case Globe-Trotter produced for the latest James Bond film, SKYFALL, starring Daniel Craig. This piece is limited to only 100 items and features a telescopic sight handle which is a replica of the one used in SKYFALL.

James Bond Centenary Special Edition

Globe-Trotter also launched James Bond Centenary Special Edition. These Black suitcases feature an exclusive Black Box Grain leather trim and Chrome locks. Inside, each case is lined with a jacquard weave featuring the iconic Bond gun barrel design in tones of grey, and finished with unique 007 serial number plaque. The Attaché Cases also feature a brand new luxury folio insert in the lid of the case.

To round up this special James Bond Collection, Globe-Trotter also launched the Leather Series, featuring luggage tag, passport cover, card holder, bill fold wallet, coat wallet, travel wallet and wash bag.

They went even further and created 50 foosball tables featuring 24k gold plated accents. Images say much more than words.

Limited Edition Steve Jobs Tribute Macbook

We are short of words with this latest limited edition item - not only because it comes from our beloved Apple brand, but because it is so beautiful to see, how great people can be remembered and for a great cause as well.

This limited edition design comes from a Hong-Kong based artist, who added Steve Jobs silhouette to the apple logo. Uncover made only 3 laptops with an added quote: "You can change things". Truly inspirational.

These Macs are of highest configuration possible and the bidding started at €11,000 and ends October 11, 5 am (UK time). The proceeds go to the charity Get it Done.

Vertu and creative brand Italian Independent announce the launch of a unique handset collection, “Constellation Blue”. The Constellation Blue collection comprises of two distinctive models, Constellation Quest Blue, the qwerty smartphone edition, limited to 77 handsets and Constellation Blue, Vertu’s touch smartphone, limited to 777 handsets.  For the Constellation Blue Collection, Vertu introduces a number of innovative performance materials, never before used by Vertu. Limited Edition Appleton 50 Year Old Rum

Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum has launched the world's oldest rum, Appleton Estate 50 Year Old Jamaica Independence Reserve. The limited edition golden rum was released in this August to mark the 50 years of Jamaican independence. Gordon's Gin Limited Edition Launch

Wednesday saw the makers of the nation’s favourite gin, Gordon’s, team up with world famous British designer, Sir Terence Conran, to create a show-stopping collection of Limited Edition bottles. The event was attended by a number of high-profile celebrities including Emilia Fox, Mariella Frostrup, Jasmine Guinness, Olivia Inge and Donna Air and was hosted in the lavish surroundings of The Vault, One Marylebone; a fitting venue for such an iconic coming-together of two quintessentially British brands.

Mirroring the ten different bottle designs by Sir Terence Conran, The Vault held ten separate bespoke rooms, each designed around the inspiration for each 'green bottle' making for a fantastic atmosphere and interactive evening.

Emilia Fox and Philip Glenister

Philip Glenister arrived in style, sporting an emerald green coloured cravat, explaining : 'my wife ran around Richmond looking for Gordon's gin coloured clothing for me to wear tonight-I have to say I love it!'

Philip was overheard exclaiming 'Foxy!!' as Emilia Fox arrived in a gorgeous green 60's style Kate Spade frock and the two enjoyed some banter with the photographers whilst posing for some glamorous shots before making their way to the bar to sample the delicious cocktails.

It seemed that London Fashion Week was the topic of the night amongst the fashionistas with designer Jasmine Guinness stating that she is 'looking forward to fashion week' and told us that she is 'planning to go to a few shows but i haven't decided which ones will be on my hit list just yet.'

Guests left the event with fresh cut flowers and gorgeous goody bags stuffed to the brim with Gordon's surprises – including a limited edition bottle.

Hermes - a Leica Special Edition

Following the Leica MP ‘Edition Hermès’ (in 2003) and the Leica M7 ‘Edition Hermès’ (in 2009), this is the third in a line of premium special editions of the Leica M-System to be created in collaboration with the renowned Parisian house Hermès. The Leica M9-P ‘Edition Hermès’ is being offered as a strictly limited edition. The limited numbers, unique product design and premium finishing with numerous extras make this a truly special edition in every respect.

The first of the Leica M9-P ‘Edition Hermès’ sets will be available in May 2012, in a worldwide limited edition of 300. In addition to the camera, the set includes a silver-anodised Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens. 

This will be followed by a very special set, which will be available in June 2012.
