Day of the Dead at Herradura

Herradura, the world’s most respected premium agave tequila, hosted its inaugural Day of the Dead celebration at La Bodega Negra. The evening saw VIPs including Jude Law and Daisy Lowe, London influencers and the fashion pack flock to Soho’s finest Mexican restaurant, La Bodega Negra, to celebrate the Day of the Dead in style.

Armed with Herradura Hacienda Fizz cocktails and Herradura tequila on the rocks, guests were transported into the heart of Mexico through an explosion of colour, iconic sugar skulls, masks, flowers and Mexican bunting. Guests were seen adorning colourful head-dresses and outfits throughout the evening – with Amber Nuttall and her two guests arriving with full face paint and Olivia Inge choosing to wear a black and white mask.

Entertainment was provided by LoveBoat Radio who had all guests up on their feet dancing - with Jude Law even taking to the microphone at one point.

MASH opens in London

Chartwell Magazine was lucky enough to fly to Copenhagen, Denmark, earlier this month to sample the world renowned MASH cuisine– otherwise known as Modern American Steak House - and view the company's impressive string of restaurants in the city. The MASH has seen rapid expansion in recent years, having only been established in 2009. Their burgers have been voted the best in Denmark ( we concur - they were probably the best Chartwell Magazine had ever come across.) The service, ambiance and most importantly the food and wine were all of exceptional standards. The danish steak had a distinctly delicious taste and the comfort food sides were fantastic accompaniments – the extra cheesy Mac N Cheese was our favourite. MASH places great emphasis on the vast selection of wines available, which have been personally selected by their award-winning team of sommeliers, the London site will boast one of the largest collections of wine in the capital. MASH regularly serves VIPs, royalty and even the worlds number 1 chef in its' Danish restaurants, we have no doubt it will be attracting a similar clientele in London.  MASH officially opens on 3rd November and is situated in the buzzing area of Brewer Street, Soho.

OMEGA House in Soho for the Olympic Games

OMEGA, the official timekeeper for the London 2012 Olympic Games are establishing an exclusive residence for members and invited guests from the 27th of July until the 12th of August. The House will allow guests to meet in an environment that is appealing and comfortable for old and new friends of the brand. 

OMEGA House is a townhouse in the heart of Soho, and will offer guests a luxurious retreat during the Olympics. The House will offer a number of VIP events and will be visited by some of the OMEGA brand ambassadors. The design of the house mirrors the lifestyle aspects and collections that OMEGA has to offer. For example the spaced-themess Speedmaster bar, named after the first watch to be worn on the moon. The Olympic Garden features a large screen television to allow fans to watch and cheer along for their favourite teams.
