Johnnie Walker and Marcus Wareing join forces



Wednesday 7th November saw JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™ and Michelin Starred chef, Marcus Wareing, come together for the launch of JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™ PORSCHE DESIGN STUDIO Gift Collection at an extraordinary evening of gastronomy in The Private Dining Room at Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley.

VIP guests enjoyed the JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™ Perfect Serve, the exquisite ‘Johnnie Walker Blue Autumn Embers’ cocktail - created exclusively for the dinner, and a menu designed by Marcus to compliment the complex tasting notes of JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™.

Ben Fogle gave amazing personal insight into his forthcoming trip across the largest desert in the world and a solo swim across the Atlantic. Sofia Wellesley joined the elite dinner, whilst her beau James Blunt is away in New York.

Marcus Wareing was gifted The JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™ Porsche Design Studio  Mini Cube commenting that he was overwhelmed by its craftsmanship and design. He announced that for the first time in 5 years he was going to have to throw a Christmas party just so he can have the Mini Cube out on display for all his friends and family to see.  Brand Ambassador Colin Dunn held an intimate JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™ tasting and introduced the luxury gifts, including limited edition bottles, The Chiller, Carton and Mini-Cube.

Quintessentially Foundation Poker at Savoy


Tuesday 30th October saw the Quintessentially Foundation - the charitable arm of Quintessentially host its annual poker evening in the beautifully restored Lancaster Ballroom at The Savoy Hotel.

Following a lavish champagne reception, 250 players took their seats alongside VIP faces includingn Ben Fodenn, Zac Goldsmithn, Oliver Cheshire for this hotly anticipated tournament. At stake were ten amazing ‘money-can’t-buy’ prizes including a Working Title Film pre-release screening for 35 guests and a stay in Vegas, complete with a helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon. 



Held in association with Betfair and supported by Borro, guests were treated to flowing Johnnie Walker Blue Label ‘Perfect Serves, canapés and entertainment throughout the evening - including a showcase from celebrity magician Drummond Money-Coutts and a live performance from electric violin duo, FUSE. Former Bond actor Colin Salmon also took to the stage, making a moving speech on behalf of The Prince’s Trust before the final ten players battled it out on the top table. The evening raised an incredible £170,000, far exceeding the target set by Quintessentially Foundation and almost doubling the total amount raised last year. All monies raised were donated to The Prince’s Trust, the globally recognised charity dedicated to helping the young and unemployed throughout the UK.

Quintessentially Foundation's Charity Concert


Quintessentially Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Quintessentially Lifestyle, is proud to announce the inaugural Fayre of St James charity concert on Thursday 29th November.  The concert will play host to a Dickensian theme in St James’s Church, Piccadilly, with VIP and celebrity performances from some of the UK’s finest talent. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to War Child, the international charity dedicated to protecting children affected by war. 

Marking the 200 year anniversary of Charles Dickens as one of Britain’s most celebrated authors, guests will be invited to a pre-concert drinks reception in the grounds of St James’s Church. Both drinks and atmosphere will hark back to a bygone era whilst revellers will be amused by an array of themed entertainment from street sellers to pick pockets, all paying homage to the great novelist whilst setting the mood for the much anticipated concert. 

500 guests will then take their seats for a spectacular night of Dickensian carols and Christmas cheer, boasting live performances from James Morrison, The London Contemporary Orchestra and London Community Gospel Choir and readings from Penelope Wilton (Downton Abbey and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) and Alex Jennings (The Queen and Whitechapel) who have all donated their time in support of War Child. 

Guests are then invited to an exclusive late night reception and shopping experience at prestigious luxury department store, Fortnum & Mason.

Charity Poker Evening at The Savoy


The Quintessentially Foundation is organizing a very special charity event in aid of The Prince's Trust: Poker Evening at The Savoy London. This marvelous event will take place on the 30th October 2012 from 6 pm onwards and is open to the general public. Tickets can be purchased by visiting Quintessentialy website and are priced £500 for an individual player (or £5,000 for a table of 10 people). 
All monies raised from the evening will be donated to The Prince's trust - the globally recognised charity dedicated to helping the young and unemployed throughout the UK. Winners of the Poker Night will still be rewarded with 10 amazing 'money-can't-buy' prizes including a Working Title Film pre-release screening for 35 guests and a stay in Vegas, complete with a helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon. 
A poker fan or not, this is a fabulous event with an even more fabulous cause.
