The B&O PLAY brand is extending its innovative collection of wireless sound systems with its most powerful performer yet: BeoPlay A9. The 2.1 bass reflex loudspeaker system integrates an impressive line-up of dedicated speaker units and amps, as well as a beautiful exterior, creating a complete sound solution perfect for those who appreciate high quality audio and design.

By powering each of its five active speakers with individual class-D amplifiers and fine-tuning a dedicated DSP algorithm, your music is brought to life! Featuring Adaptive Bass Linearisation, the A9 also keeps powerful low tones rich and refined.

Selecting tracks and turning the dial up or down has never been simpler. A new built in capacitive sensor lets you control the volume by simply sliding your hand over it.  You can mute the system by simply resting a hand on top of it. You also have the option of wirelessly selecting tracks and adjust the volume with your remote control, smartphone or tablet.

The A9 features simple and versatile connectivity options. Connect wirelessly, from Apple or Android devices via the free BeoSetup App, or via a wire through the USB socket and Wireless Network Login Sharing (WNLS) - a simple new technology that connects your device to your BeoPlay A9 at the touch of a button.

The connection panel beneath the unit includes a mains socket for power, line-in, and a USB socket that lets you soft dock and charge your device.

BeoPlay A9 has been designed so that it can sit comfortably on the floor, on screw-in wooden legs, or hanging on a wall from its own bracket.

Fabric covers are available in black, white, silver, red, brown and green. Solid wood legs are available in oak, beech or teak.

Baroque at Playboy Club Launch Party

Tuesday 2^nd October, saw the much anticipated opening of new Mayfair venue, Baroque, the brainchild of esteemed entrepreneur Gerry Calabrese (of Hoxton Pony and Hoxton Gin acclaim.) Guests enjoyed live performances from award winning acts Mark Ronson, Delilah, and Dimitri from Paris. Olivia Grant, Simon Ambrose, Percy Parker and Amy Molyneaux were amongst those who came to celebrate the exciting launch.

The opulence and showmanship that is associated with the Baroque movement was brought vividly to life last night, as Gerry Calabrese's latest offering opened its doors for the first time. Complete with a lavish decor of ornate Louis XIV chairs, hanging paintings, and designer uniforms by fashion icons PPQ;  Baroque lived up to its name, as guests took in the sheer luxury of the venue.
