Gianni Versace's Miami mansion up for sale

The made famous home of the late Gianni Versace has been put up for sale in Miami for an extravagant $125 million.
Versace paid $2.9 million for the Miami pad, and then gave the mansion a $33 million dollar revamp. His death subsequently resulted in the property being put up for sale. The world renowned designer was shot dead outside his home in July of 1997.
Telecommunications billionaire Peter Loftin paid $19 million for the property in 2000, and then turned the mansion in to a members only club and hotel, featuring 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and a 54ft-long mosaic tiled swimming pool, all of which would cost you $2,500 a night.
Loftin closed the hotel in 2009, and after 12 years of ownership the stunningly located property is back up for sale.
What is for sure is this is a stunning property, in a stunning location, all set with a stunningly high price tag. And despite the fact the mansion is joint in being the most expensive property for sale in the United States, more than likely someone will be willing to tie up this utterly unique property.
