Chain of Hope Charity Ball


The 2012 Chain on Hope Annual Gala Ball, held on the 8th of November at the natural History Museum in London, was a fantastic evening for Chain of Hope, raising over £700,000. The live auction was the highlight of the evening with guests showing outstanding support for the charity. The Natural History Museum was transformed into a spectacular dining-room for the evening's events. 

Backes & Strauss, the world's oldest diamond company are proud to have been part of the ebening's live auction, donating an exquisite limited edition time piece from their Regent Diamond Jubilee Collection, created to celebrate the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Having kindly been given permission from the Lord Chamberlain's Office in Buckingham Palace to use her Majesty's Royal Cypher in the design of this unique and historical collection, each piece has a serial number from the 60 year reign of Her Majesty, crafted in 18kt white gold and hand set with ideal cut round brilliant diamonds of the finest quality. 

The Chain of Hope Charity has been saving lives for 18 years, providing children suffering from life-threatening heart disease with the corrective surgery and treatment they need, but do not have access to.
