Champagne G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge Club Meeting

The 12th September 2012 saw the exceptional members of the Champagne G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge Club come together for their 5th annual meeting at The Lookout in Hyde Park. In the picture above, you can see the members clockwise from top left: Leo Houlding, Mountaineer and para- alpinist; Dee Caffari, Round-the-world yachtswoman; David Hempleman-Adams, Polar balloonist and adventurer; Ben Fogle, Trans-Atlantic rower and adventurer; Tom Avery, Polar adventurer; Rune Gjeldnes, Adventurer; Geoff Holt, Sailor; Ben Saunders, Polar adventurer; and Mike Golding, Round-the-world yachtsman. 


Founded in 2008, the Club was established to recognise outstanding individuals within the realms of exploration, sailing, adventure and discovery. Members are acknowledged for showing immense courage and dedication in their particular fields of expertise, whether it be conquering mountains or single-handedly traversing oceans.

This year’s Honorary Chairman, world class pilot David Hempleman-Adams welcomed the Club members to celebrate the achievements of the past year with G.H. Mumm Protocoles such as sabrage and dinner prepared by esteemed chef, Adam Byatt. (Pictures by Nick Smith)
